Minecraft recently received a significant update with Cave and Cliffs, but now Sonic and pals have joined the game for the price of Minecoins.
It’s the blue hedgehog’s 30th anniversary and there’s plenty for fans to be excited about in the near future. Not only will there be a new game next year that is rumoured to be open-world, but there’s also a remaster of Colors scheduled for September.
There’s only a few more months to wait until the remaster comes out, but you can help pass the time by revisiting the Green Hills in cube form.
Minecraft x Sonic DLC
The expansion celebrates the SEGA mascot’s 30th anniversary and includes so much more than just the speedy furball. Not only does it allow you to step into the red and white sneakers, but you also get to play as Tails, Knuckles, his stalker Amy, and the emo double, Shadow.
Fans will recognise the classic landscapes of Green Hill Zone as well as the Chemical Plant. You’ll be able to race across these zones while picking up as many golden rings as possible, and it all comes with high scores and achievements.
And, away from the pretty landscapes and do-gooders, the pack’s description says that there is also an Eggman mode.
What is the price of Minecraft Sonic DLC?
The price of the Sonic The Hedgehog DLC in Minecraft is 1,340 Minecoins.
All you need to do is open the marketplace on your respective platform and download the pack for the above fee. You obviously need to spend real money to get the aforementioned currency, but it’s well worth it even if you’re not a fan of the classic SEGA franchise.
It pretty much adds a new game inside of the Mojang experience, and it offers 24 new skins as well as even more varying locations aside from Green Hills and Chemical Plants.
How much do Minecoins cost?
The above amount would be enough to land you the Sonic DLC, but you can also buy 3,500 Minecoins for just £16.74. These redemption codes will work with Xbox, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
